A Chariho lifer. A public school advocate. Ready to put students first.

I grew up in Hopkinton and went through Chariho schools K–12. I raised three kids in the same district. I have been a science educator for 26 years. I am not an outside voice with an agenda. I am someone who has watched this district grow for more than forty years and wants to protect what it has built.

Why this race matters

Hopkinton holds 4 of 12 seats on the Chariho School Committee. That means every Hopkinton seat counts. Decisions about your kids’ schools, budgets, policies, programs, staffing, are made at this table. And right now, some members of that committee are using it to push political agendas instead of focusing on students. This election is a chance to change that.

Every decision I make on the school committee will start with one question: is this good for kids? Not politics. Not ideology. Kids.

Invest in Our Schools

Chariho has gone from an unaccredited high school to a top ten ranked district in Rhode Island. That did not happen by accident. It happened because our community made real investments in students, programs, and teachers. I will fight to protect and grow those investments.Some current committee members have worked at every turn to cut funding from Chariho schools. I believe quality public education requires real investment and I will fight back against anyone who treats our schools as a budget target.

Evidence-Based Decision Making

As a science teacher, I have spent 26 years teaching students to argue from evidence, not opinion. That is exactly how I will approach every vote on the committee.

Fair Treatment for Every Student

I will fight to protect policies that guarantee equal access and rights for all students, including students with special needs and LGBTQ+ students, against efforts to quietly roll them back under the guise of “fairness.”

Real Transparency

Elected officials who ignore constituent emails for over a year are not doing their job. I will respond, engage, and keep Hopkinton residents informed through social media, public forums, and direct accessibility.
